
Hayley Sforcina is a sustainability and strategy professional who brings more than 20 years of cross-sector experience to her role as Senior Sustainability Consultant at ReGen Strategic.
Her career includes more than 15 years in the private sector driving innovation at a global medical technology leader Stryker, and more recent experience within the WA public sector. Across both environments, Hayley has consistently delivered complex initiatives within highly regulated settings.
In her previous role at VenuesWest, Hayley co-developed the first Environmental Sustainability Strategy and established a program to build organisational readiness for emerging climate-related mandates. Her work set direction across governance, climate adaptation and resilience, energy optimisation, waste management, responsible water use, and capability uplift.
Hayley is on the pathway to a Master of Sustainability (Professional) at Deakin University and has completed executive education in circular economy and ESG topics, including climate-related financial disclosures. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Strategy, completed with High Distinctions.
Her formal governance experience includes committee roles as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging advocate, and a former Board Director position with the Project Management Institute (PMI, WA Chapter). Hayley is also a volunteer mentor with the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ).
Hayley’s Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) from the University of Western Australia gives her a distinctive foundation for her work, underpinning her systems thinking, critical analysis, and practical decision-making, as well as a nuanced understanding of human behaviour and organisational dynamics.
