Sandy is a climate and sustainability specialist whose work spans sustainability reporting, climate risk and resilience, and strategic advisory. She helps organisations meet reporting obligations and integrate climate considerations into governance, risk management and business planning. She has advised private and ASX-listed companies, as well as not-for-profit organisations, across sectors including mining, resources, and agribusiness.
Sandy has successfully delivered multiple end-to-end AASB S2 engagements, guiding clients through readiness assessments, climate scenario analysis, risk and opportunity assessments, disclosure preparation and assurance support. As part of this work, she has facilitated multidisciplinary workshops to assess climate exposures from operational and financial perspectives, working closely with clients to develop risk registers, adaptation strategies and substantiated disclosures. Through these engagements, she has helped clients meet reporting obligations and use climate insights to inform long-term strategy and strengthen business resilience.
Her sustainability advisory experience also includes supporting clients with disclosures aligned with the GRI Standards and UN SDGs, helping them communicate their sustainability impacts and performance to shareholders and other stakeholders. Her background in GHG accounting and environmental reporting, including applying the GHG Protocol, provides a strong technical foundation for evaluating the information underpinning disclosures. She draws on this experience to address data gaps, assess key assumptions, and support robust, substantiated reporting.
Before specialising in climate and sustainability, Sandy worked in data analytics and business development across Australia and international markets. This commercial background has strengthened her ability to connect technical analysis with business priorities, engage decision-makers and develop practical recommendations that reflect each organisation’s objectives and operating context.
Sandy holds a Master of Environment and Climate Emergency from Curtin University, where she graduated with Distinction and received the Greatest Impact Award, and a Master of Accountancy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
