As the year winds down and Bublé’s dulcet tones start drifting out of every cafe, elevator and shopping centre in Perth, we’ve been reflecting on the work we’ve delivered alongside our clients, partners and communities. The real value beneath the strategy sessions, site visits, community workshops and countless cups of coffee.
So, with 12 days to go until Christmas, please humour me as I present the 12 things ReGen gave to me in 2025: the capabilities, people and values that make our work meaningful and help our clients move forward with confidence.
(Feel free to sing along. Mariah would absolutely want that.)
- A purpose to deliver more and make an impact.
At ReGen, everything starts with purpose, and unlike Santa’s naughty-or-nice list, ours doesn’t change. We deliver more, to make a difference. That guides every conversation, briefing and recommendation. Sustainability, integrity, curiosity and high-quality work underpin how we show up for clients, communities and partners. No elves required (though we’d happily hire them).
- Approvals pathways that minimise risk and delay.
Whether it’s a major renewables project, expanded mining operations, a precinct-scale development or something as complex as Santa’s global overnight logistics operation, our deep understanding of approvals, sustainability obligations and agency expectations helps clients progress efficiently and with fewer surprises than a work Kris Kringle gone wrong.
- Stakeholder maps that deliver results.
We help clients know who’s who in Dumas House and on the Terrace (and beyond) as clearly as Rudolph’s red nose on a foggy night. Who matters, why they matter and how to engage them. Our mapping process highlights interests, influence, risks and opportunities, giving organisations clarity on where their effort will shine brightest.
- Communication strategies that “let it sing.”
And yes, sometimes “All I Want for Christmas Is You” plays in the background while we craft narratives that cut through complexity and resonate with audiences. From media to digital to internal comms, we build messaging that lands louder than a Mariah Carey whistle note.
- ESG goals and sustainability strategies built to withstand scrutiny.
As expectations rise faster than Christmas gift prices, we guide organisations through materiality, target-setting and reporting using ISSB, TCFD, SDGs and other global frameworks. The result? Credible strategies that stand proudly on their own with no wrapping paper required.
- Meetings with ministers that get projects moving.
Backed by bipartisan relationships at all levels of government, we support clients with strategic engagement, clear messaging and well-prepared conversations. Think of it as the professional equivalent of Santa’s chimney access: respectful, well-timed and always leaving a good impression.
- Simply Stakeholders dashboards that turn engagement into insight.
Our work is grounded in data. Using Simply Stakeholders, clients get transparency, reporting and accountability, with every interaction logged, analysed and aligned to approvals or policy requirements. Imagine Santa’s list… but interactive, colour-coded and exportable.
- Community workshops that are safe, respectful and culturally informed.
Across WA and beyond, our team facilitates meaningful discussions — appropriate, respectful and grounded in IAP2 principles. These sessions help build genuine trust and clarity. No awkward-Christmas-dinner energy here.
- Social impact assessments that reflect real people.
Our SIAs go beyond compliance, examining tangible and intangible impacts from wellbeing and culture to noise, dust and amenity. By listening to communities and applying global best practice, we help clients understand their footprint and design better outcomes.
- Parliamentary monitoring that keeps clients ahead of change.
From new legislation to committee reports, Hansard debates and emerging policy shifts, we translate political noise into meaningful, practical intelligence. Clients stay informed, prepared and aligned, with no crystal ball or North Pole magic required.
- Lunch Leaders sessions with experts, regulators and decision-makers.
Our Lunch Leaders program gives clients rare access to the people shaping WA’s future. Directors General, policy thinkers and industry leaders all in one room, sharing insights (and occasionally the last cookie).
- A high-performing team working in unison to support organisations that matter.
From strategy to fieldwork, analysis to engagement, our multidisciplinary team brings skill, curiosity and care to every project. Our people are ReGen’s greatest asset and the biggest gift we bring to our clients.
