BCI Minerals

Sustainability performance and maturity

The challenge

BCI Minerals is progressing development of the Mardie Salt and Potash Project, a future Tier One operation on the Pilbara coast. As the project approached operations, BCI required sustainability systems, governance, targets and reporting that were fit for purpose, scalable and commensurate with the size, risk profile and long-term nature of the business.

Reviewed the Environmental and Social Management System, including policies, plans, procedures and tools, to ensure alignment with operational risks and regulatory requirements

The result

Sustainability and ESG maturity assessment

The challenge

Phosphate Resources Limited operates a long-standing phosphate mine on Christmas Island alongside diversified subsidiary businesses. While PRL had invested in sustainability initiatives, it sought a clearer understanding of its ESG maturity, how it compared to peers, and a practical pathway to strengthen sustainability performance, governance and disclosure in line with its purpose.

The result

ReGen delivered a comprehensive Sustainability and ESG Maturity Assessment Report to PRL’s Board and Executive. The report clearly articulated PRL’s current maturity level and how it compared to industry peers in Australia and internationally.

It provided a series of fit-for-purpose, staged recommendations to strengthen ESG governance, performance and disclosure over time. The assessment established a clear, practical roadmap aligned with PRL’s vision and operating context. ReGen continues to work collaboratively with PRL to support implementation and embed continuous improvement in sustainability performance.

A sustainability program for an intensive farming operation

The challenge

Following the acquisition of the Dardanup Butchering Company, Overland Group identified the need for a consolidated, group-wide sustainability approach. With sustainability oversight transitioning to the parent entity, Overland required clarity on material issues, insight into social impacts, and preparedness for mandatory climate-related financial disclosures and growing stakeholder expectations.
