Louanne Munz

Strategic Counsel, Community Engagement

Louanne Munz is ReGen Strategic’s Strategic Counsel, Community Engagement, and brings more than 30 years’ experience across the mining, oil and gas, government and public sectors to the role.

Louanne’s areas of expertise include community and stakeholder engagement, community development partnerships, management of social investments, social performance standards and corporate reporting.

She has extensive experience in managing community relations and stakeholder engagement for projects in WA and internationally and leads ReGen’s community engagement practice.

Her direct experience ranges from project inception to closure management and has benefited companies and clients in gaining social licence to operate and contributing to rewarding levels of corporate social responsibility.

She worked with BHP for many years benefiting communities in the WA Goldfields and the Kwinana industrial area, and has a strong background in the marketing of mineral sands and fertiliser.

Louanne is also an experienced board member, having represented a number of not-for-profit organisations in the arts and community sectors.

More recently, she trained as a docent for Perth Zoo and is passionate about wildlife conservation.

Louanne has also received a certificate of completion for the Global Reporting Initiative’s Introduction to sustainability reporting and the GRI Standards 2021 Update.

Louanne is also an avid reader and movie buff.
